Hiding & Showing Accounts
Hiding and unhiding accounts is easy just follow the steps below.
Hiding & Showing Accounts:
- First open your existing SEE Finance file.
- From the Menu Bar select "Accounts" then select "Hide/Show Accounts" OR click the action button under the accounts list and then select "Hide/Show Accounts".
- The "Hide/Show Accounts" sheet will then appear attached to the SEE Finance file's window.
- Now just go through the list of accounts and select the check box for accounts in the "Hidden" column for the accounts you wish to be hidden and uncheck any accounts you wish to be shown.
- Verify the accounts that you want hidden and shown are selected accordingly and if they are click the "Close" button and you're done!
Notes:
- Make sure if you select an account type ("Banking", "Investments", "Credit Cards", etc.) to be hidden all of the accounts of this type will also be hidden regardless of whether they are chosen to be hidden or not.
- You can also set the account's balance to be hidden from the main "Balances" amount.
- Hidden accounts still keep their info available for use in lists, reports and budgets. To block an account from being available in lists, reports and budgets the account's balance must be hidden.
