Linking Tax Codes to Categories

Linking tax codes to categories is easy, just follow the steps below.

Linking Tax Codes to Categories:

Select the "Payees, Types & Categories" from the Account List.
Select the Categories View by selecting the "Categories" button on the right of the top bar.
Select the category in the table that you would like to link to a tax code.
If you know the tax code you would like to link, select it from the tax code drop down list OR click the "List" button just above the tax code drop down list and search for the tax code you would like to link, then double click the tax code in the table and you're done!
