In SEE Finance you can setup transaction payees with default values for transaction type, category, memo and amount. With memorized transactions turned on, when you change the payee of a transaction it will update the transaction with the default transaction type, category, memo, and amount set for the payee in the "Payees" list. You can also set whether or not editing transaction's transaction type, category, memo, and amount will automatically update the selected payee's default values for transaction type, category, memo, and amount. You can turn the memorized transactions feature on or off and whether or not it automatically updates payees with default values in Transaction Preferences.
